Jessica Walsh

Jessica Walsh is a Graphic designer and photographer from New York.  Her work is very current day and very contemporary. I have grown to like her work more and more- the more I understand this Graphic Designer- she has some typographic work, some really well thought out poster designs, she is a graphic designer who in which has inspired my some of the imagery and design concepts I have recently started to create. I like her use in colour scheme, the typographic work and I just like the fact her work is based on current situations- she has also created some humorous imagery and designs and this has inspired me to try and add some humour to my imagery as I find humour can make artwork more exciting and interesting to look at.

Here is some of Jessica Walsh's well known graphic design! As I say her work has a modern like aesthetic and is very relatable... which is an inspiring designer to learn from.

I have a liking to her typography work- especially the work on the bottom row- with the illustrative approach along with the type- I really like the choice of font and typeface.  She is quickly becoming one of my favourite graphic designers!

Poster Series 5

Mask Up These posters I did were just experimental ideas that went better than I expected. these designs are called Mask up! the concept behind these designs is the fact COVID 19 has effected us, relating to not only health and social life but also appearance, to keep everyone safe and sound d- a lot of people see wearing a mask as a hidden identity- Ideally a way to disguise your true callings. which to an extent COVID has been good for that- nobody knows if you're happy, sad or lip reading or simply cursing quietly. so it is an interesting concept to consider all heroes wear a mask don't they, batman, superman, Scooby-Doo villeins and even Del Boy and Rodders. but you notice a Doctor and a dentist is always wearing a face mask, to them its almost second nature. but NHS and the doctors have been the superheroes of 2020, so it makes sense for them to be labelled with a facemark- now everyone in the world has to be a hero too by wearing a face mask in required places unles...
