David Shrigley This artist was recommended to me through Paul  at the very beginning of the summer project, because I created a piece of Motion Graphics (A Greyscale Gif) I created this using just Line drawing and my work reminded him of David Shrigley's work. As well as the fact his work is very playful and quite lounge and cheek and this is something I wanted to try and achieve in my work as well. Time Plan for my Summer project 2020 For this entry I have decided to put my time plan up for what I put together for the duration of this project for what task I am completing, when I think the task will be completed and finally when it was actually completed. I wanted to create this time plan to help myself as a guide for what I need to complete and what needs completing. For me making a time plan is good for if helping you keep on track and on-top of your workings, so for me I find this an important thing to include in this Blogger.  Call me a geek, a nerd or a sad sack but For me, I find making a time plan is just as important as making Brainstorms considering the fact that Time management and organisation skills isn't my strongest aspects as a budding Graphic Designer, but it is good as it helps me visually work out what needs doing and what I have completed so I can complete my project to my best ability....

Soap Carving Today I decided to create soap carving! Based on COVID 19 to they something different and to experiment as well as creating art on anything that isn't paper or computerised and to try something different. I have carved soap before a few years ago for work for Secondary school and looking back at Work by Jessica Walsh who is a graphic designer I have done some research on and some of her work- especially her recent work is featuring soap with lettering in her work I wanted to create something similar but actually carving the lettering onto the soap- it was honestly like cutting/carving Lino accept it being soap! Why soap? I used soap because one of the reasons that COVID 19 has been spreading is because of touch and people's germs and they have urged people to wash their hands more so carving the soap saying Wash hands I thought was a perfect idea.  This isn't exactly a poster design per say but it was an experiment that I thought worked Very well with this top...
