Posters in Makaton The idea behind this concept of posters is to create designs in Makaton, for those who doesn't know what Makaton is it's a form of sign language for those with hard of hearing, deaf or those who have speech and language disorders or any kind of learning difficulty where understanding verbal communication challenging. I chose to design some poster designs in Makaton because I learnt some of the sign language in my Primary School and I learnt the Alphabet in Makaton and how to count and how to say good morning and good afternoon etc. Seeing as this pandemic is a globalised issue I did a PDF booklet on words stay home, stay safe and save lives in different languages across the world but seeing as sign language and Makaton is another language I wanted to try doing a couple of designs based on that so those who struggle with communication and have learnt sign language will understand some of the text. ...

Typographic Posters These posters were inspired by the typographic website founded by Paul, after scrutinising the designs people have created, it inspired me to create a typographic series of posters inspired by the work I saw on the website, where in this series I have experimented with colour, learning further detail on colour theory and complimentary colours and It inspired me to experiment further with typography, I do remember back in the beginning of year 1 my work especially typographical work when we did the visible word where my typographic work was very straight and to be more asymmetric and oblique with my work, and try and make it more exciting by experimenting.
