Instagram Artists

This entry is just on some artist Instagram that Paul recommended me sometime ago during a chat on Slack and Instagram, which helped me find some inspiration for my own work when I had some artist block earlier in the summer project here's the examples of Instagram Artists and their work below.

  
Problem Press's work

With this work- I found the typography quite inspiring with how it is presented and how the typography is arranged like the pages on the righthand side. I like how the text still looks quite sophisticatedly laid out but also out of place. 


 
Annieatkins's work

With this artist as I said before in a Blog entry, I found her work quite inspiring for a design concept near the beginning of my poster creations. with the layout of the typography and the colour scheme- I really like her messages to her work and how she's laid it out. I posted her work on the lefthand side too because I liked her uses of colour and the way she designs is very simplistic but is also like a collage which is quite a clever idea. its a kind of idea I'd like to create one day in the foreseeable future. 


 
Paul David's artwork 

With this guy's work is quite inspiring as he is quite witty and cheeky- and uses a lot of tongue and cheek with his work and likes a but of the pastiche which is something I found quite inspiring and was something I want to try and incorporate with my work also. Especially with the political aspects like what I bought into the social media posters: (Series 10!)

Poster Series 5

Mask Up These posters I did were just experimental ideas that went better than I expected. these designs are called Mask up! the concept behind these designs is the fact COVID 19 has effected us, relating to not only health and social life but also appearance, to keep everyone safe and sound d- a lot of people see wearing a mask as a hidden identity- Ideally a way to disguise your true callings. which to an extent COVID has been good for that- nobody knows if you're happy, sad or lip reading or simply cursing quietly. so it is an interesting concept to consider all heroes wear a mask don't they, batman, superman, Scooby-Doo villeins and even Del Boy and Rodders. but you notice a Doctor and a dentist is always wearing a face mask, to them its almost second nature. but NHS and the doctors have been the superheroes of 2020, so it makes sense for them to be labelled with a facemark- now everyone in the world has to be a hero too by wearing a face mask in required places unles...
