Poster Series 10

Posters with the Media

For this series of posters, this is a mini series based on the political sayings on COVID 19 and the social media inspired. With a bit of a jovial twist. Anybody who is reading this, please do not be offended with anything you're about to see and don't take these the wrong way- these are supposed to be comical but also an attempt to be bit clever.

With these designs I had a look at the format of Google, Facebook and Twitter- you maybe abit confused with what I am rambling on about here- but all will become clear.

Batter

This piece, batter- is a Non copyrighted Micky take on Twitter- Called Batter- seeing as Covid 19 main theory for its cause is caused by Bats. I created this design, by following the format of Twitter (From what I found on Google Images- seeing as I don't have/use Twitter. I wanted to make my own twist on Twitter. By adding Pastiche- to my design processes and  to help me create the Twitter aesthetic to this design.

I also wanted to create the Micky take on President Trump- by add a joke in this piece in any way possible.  For instance,  using the name "Donald Trumpet" basically taking the biscuit- but to also try and make people laugh too.
This pastiche works well as Donald Trump is constantly on Twitter and always uses it so it made sense to create a design based on Twitter and Trump!

Here is the template I used to help me create this Batter poster above.

Cough Note

With these two designs, Cough Note I wanted to again create a Micky take on Politician:  Boris Johnson and President: Donald Trump- again by following the format of a real life social media- Facebook. But calling it Cough Note as a playful name on Facebook- so I am not completely copying Facebook.
In this case I created a Cough Note for them. I really like how these designs were created- I like m y pastiche approach to these two pieces. I like the logo for Cough Note- it works really well because whilst I am Micky taking slightly on COVID 19 that one of the symptoms of COVID is Coughing- and coughing is full of germs so I thought that logo works perfectly and I like the name for this "Facebook" named Cough Note.

Here is the symbolic logo for Cough Note:

I created these two designs by following the format of Facebook from looking at my Facebook and looking at Facebook formats on Google images to help me create the Facebook aesthetic to this design.

Heres an example of a Facebook template I have followed to create my designs above.

Goggle

Goggle, this was the first design I created like this- and which is why I wanted to explain this last as a best till last kind of thing. this was where the start of this series of posters rose. I wanted to create some poster designs on Research on Covid 19- looking at theories on Bats, the Bill Gates theory and facts about COVID 19 etc- the websites on this poster are legit websites because I couldn't think of made up links. This design is a simple design following the google aesthetic showing a pastiche on Google by calling this design Goggle rather than Google- so it isn't completely copying google.

I liked this idea as it links my design processes as the websites and research that I have looked at for this project.
